How ATSCheck uses AI

AI is good at reading context and drafting language. It is not a good source of numbers or decisions. ATSCheck is built around that difference.

Who does what

Tasks in ATSCheck, whether ATSCheck, AI or people perform them, and the safeguard for each

Reading your resumeATSCheckIf a document cannot be read reliably, we tell you rather than guess.
ATS compatibility findingsATSCheckEach finding comes with a plain explanation of why it matters.
Separating job requirementsATSCheckHR users review and confirm requirements before candidates are analysed.

Principles

Rules the AI works within

The number is never invented

AI does not decide your score. Scores are calculated consistently, so the same resume and job description give the same result.

Evidence must exist

A quote is shown only if it appears in the resume. If nothing supports a requirement, ATSCheck says “No evidence found in the supplied resume” — which describes the document, not the person.

Writing must be truthful

Rewrites and cover letters may clarify and restructure what you wrote. They must not add employers, dates, tools, results or responsibilities.

No hiring decisions

ATSCheck never rejects, ranks or moves a candidate automatically, and customers must keep meaningful human review of every decision.

Fairness boundaries

Protected characteristics are ignored. There is no personality, culture-fit or ‘potential’ scoring.

Documents cannot change the rules

Text inside a resume or job description is analysed as content. It cannot change how ATSCheck works.

Limitations

AI can be wrong. It may miss evidence phrased unusually, or read a line as stronger or weaker evidence than you would. In particular:

  • Unusual layouts, scanned documents and very long resumes can reduce accuracy.
  • Job descriptions that are vague or combine several roles produce less precise requirements.
  • Specialised or new terminology may not be recognised as related to a requirement.
  • Generated writing can still sound unlike you. Read and edit it before use.

Treat every result as a starting point for your own judgement, and review outputs before relying on them.

Your data and AI

For each task, only the document text needed for that task is processed. Resume, candidate and job content is not used by EmKeTech to train AI models.

We keep simple records of which AI features were used, for fair use and billing. These records never contain document content.
