  • Skills alignmentSkills demonstrated in work count more than skills that are only listed.
  • Relevant experienceEvidence for the experience the role describes.
  • Evidence qualitySpecific, verifiable lines count more than vague ones.

Combining the two

With a job description, the overall score combines ATS compatibility and job match. Without one, you see ATS compatibility only.

Keeping scores honest

  • A document whose text cannot be read cannot score well overall, however good the words are.
  • Keyword stuffing does not help: repetition cannot inflate a score.
  • If none of the required requirements is evidenced, the job match stays low.

When one of these applies, the report tells you.

Labels always appear as text; colour only supports them.
